Power Management Verification with Synopsys MVSIM and MVRC

Description
Applying advanced power management techniques to SOC designs poses new verification challenges. This tutorial will review the impact of techniques such as multi-voltage, multi-voltage with dynamic scaling, power gating including state retention and low vdd standby on verification flows. Synopsys' MVSIM, a Voltage-Aware simulation engine and MVRC, a Voltage-Aware static checker are introduced to describe how power-managed designs can be verified completely and efficiently.
